Donate to Make an Impact

Because staff is not always available to receive donated items, these items can be delivered to the Portage Township Trustee's Office at 3590 Willowcreek Rd, Suite B, Portage, IN 46368. The office is open Mon-Thurs. 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and Fri. 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. Staff will be informed that they need to be picked up from the office.

What we really need:

  • Body Wash
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • All Purpose (non-Bleach) Spray Cleaner
  • Liquid Laundry Detergent
  • Liquid Dish Soap (like Dawn, Gain, etc.)
  • Toilet Paper
  • Facial Tissue (like Kleenex)
  • Paper Towels 
  • Shampoo (Pantene)
  • Conditioner
  • Hair Products (Mielle Organics, Carol's Daughter, Shea Moisture, Softee)
  • Deodorant (men's and women's)
  • Glade Plug-ins (refills)
  • Gallon size Ziplock Storage Bags
  • Trash Bags - 30 gallon size
  • Plungers (multiple needed)
  • Disinfectant Spray (Microban or Lysol)​
  •  Grocery and Gift Cards (Save-A-Lot, Family Dollar, or Dollar General cards are very helpful because they are easily accessible for residents and have a good selection of basic need items.)

Cleaning Supplies

We need items like disinfectants, mops, brooms, and trash bags to maintain a clean and safe environment for our residents.

Toiletries

Donations of soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and other personal hygiene products are essential for the well-being of our clients.

Laundry Supplies

Contributions of laundry detergent, fabric softener, and dryer sheets ensure our residents can keep their clothing clean.

Gift Cards

Save-A-Lot, Family Dollar, or Dollar Tree cards are very helpful because they are easily accessible for residents and have a good selection of basic need items.

Clothing, Furniture, and Other Items

To all of our gracious donors who have women's clothing items, things for children, furniture, etc. We ask that you help us by taking those items to one of the following places that support Gabriel's Horn's Clients. Our women can receive items from all of the listed organizations at no cost to them, so by sending items to these places, you are helping the women and children of Gabriel's Horn!
